Thai Massage Training Wellness Retreats
Sweet Pea Wellness is hosting a one of a kind Thai Massage Training retreat in the beautiful West Kootenay mountains of British Columbia. Our 14 day retreat consists of a 60 hour Thai Massage Practitioner Certification course that is accredited by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada as well as many others. Also included are Yoga and meditation sessions, outdoor adventures, healthy organic food and your lodging.
Come learn this ancient healing art, surrounded by nature. With no distractions from the outside world, it is easier for us to grow together in this beautiful healing centre, nestled in the quiet little town of Nelson, BC.

The Mountain Waters Retreat Lodge is located on the border of the 27,000-hectare West Arm Provincial Park, yet we are within a fifteen minute drive to the beautiful small city of Nelson, B.C. Our location offers a unique combination of pristine natural settings and proximity to world-class amenities. We are blessed with beautiful forests, verdant meadows, and delicious wild water that bubbles down Hermitage creek from springs sourced high up in the park.
Enjoy daily hikes and nature walks. Experience the smell of wild flowers in the Spring and delicious huckleberries in the Summer. Surrounded by towering cedars and color changing larch trees in the Fall.
With adventures for everyone, this retreat lets you unwind and focus as we dive into a new path. Whether you are taking the course, for personal growth or a career, you can feel at ease here in the West Kootenay.

Imagine stepping outside your cabin, hearing all the birds sing "good morning ", walking through the mossy forest to get to your daily Yoga and Meditation class. Before we start the course each morning, we give thanks to our bodies and prepare for our day with an hour and a half class. This class is for all levels.
All of the private rooms are located in the main lodge building. We provide you with queen or double beds with shared washroom facilities. Each room is beautifully appointed and unique, as the circular construction leaves few square corners. You will feel well rested and relaxed in our clean and comfortable rooms, with the sounds of Hermitage creek outside your window.

We have shared accommodations available in six different cabins, all within easy access of the main lodge. Each of the cabins are unique, but they all have decks, privacy, and a cozy handcrafted quality. The cabins have sinks and toilets and four have showers. Shower facilities are also available in the main lodge for our cabin guests.
The cabins are designed to accommodate two people. They are ideal for sharing with a friend, relative or having the opportunity to meet someone new.
Food is a central part of every one of our retreats. Many great conversations begin around the dinner table, where our guests enjoy the simple ritual of breaking bread together. Our meals can be described as healthy gourmet. We have a large bountiful garden and many of the vegetables in your soup or salad will have come straight from the soil that same day.
We serve a combination of vegetarian meals and animal-based protein, usually wild fish or free-range chicken. Whenever we can, we buy organic and locally grown food; ingredients that taste better, are healthier for us, and support the kind of world we wish to see prosper. We are fortunate to have passionate chefs that prepare our meals with love, the best of ingredients, and the creative talent with food that only true passion can bring.
Some of our guests have food sensitivities and food allergies that we do our best to accommodate in the kitchen. We are used to providing gluten-free meals, and we will always have dairy free options. At the same time it is sometimes impossible to meet and address everyone’s needs when we have a large group and people with a range of different food sensitivities. We ask that you let us know in advance of your stay if you require a special diet, and be prepared, if need be, to bring some extra items for your personal use that can be safely stored in our guest refrigerator.
