Our Classes

At Sweet Pea Wellness, all our classes are uniquely different than most yoga studios. We practice the eight limbs of Raja Yoga, so meditation and spiritual growth are very important, as well as, warming up the body with limbering before we start the asana practice. Meditation is taught in most 90 minute and 2 hour classes. We also provide breathing and meditation classes for those who want to focus on specific areas of the eight limbs. 

The Pilates classes are taught on the mat without all the equipment. Just bring a water bottle and your smile. We love to have fun and feel the burn along with wonderful music. Pilates was created a long time ago to help rehabilitate chronic pain and injury. 

Want the best of both worlds? Come try our Yogalaties classes. A combination of Yoga like stretches and Pilates excersises will give you a strong core along with flexibility, all in one class.

Breath Meditation

In this 60 minute class you will learn about Pranayama(Breath) and meditation. We will dive deeper into the mind to unite the mind, body and breath together as one. This class is great for those who want to learn more, for those who like to be guided and for people who want to learn how to use their breath for many benefits in everyday life.

Hatha Yoga

All our Hatha classes are structured around the eight limbs of Yoga. Using meditation in movement along with breath to connect the mind and body. This class is good for any level. The 90 minute and 2 hour classes are always taught with meditation at the end so you leave class feeling grounded, peaceful and ready to live life with a calmer state of mind.

Yin Yoga

Our Yin class is great for all levels. Props are a big part of helping us get into a comfortable restorative pose. In this class we hold each pose 3-5 minutes to help release joints, muscles and more. Focusing a lot on hips, this class a mostly done in seated, prone and supine positions. Yin is great to help loosen the body more than most Yoga classes. Extremely relaxing while emotions are released with every breath we take. Meditation is taught with every 90 minute to 2 hour class.

Yogalaties

This class is a combination of Yoga like stretches with Pilates exercises. It is great for creating mobility and flexibility while cumulating a strong core. This class has the very best of both worlds to help people with injury, chronic pain or any weakness in the body. After spending 75 minutes together, you will walk away with awareness of the body and mind.
